Copilot is an AI assistant integrated into Windows 11 and 10. It is made for boosting your efficiency through the utilization of AI technology. In simple words, it will allow you do more by finishing your daily routines faster and efficiently. In order to unlock all of Copilot's features, it is necessary for you to log in to the Copilot application with your Microsoft account or Microsoft Entra Account (work or school account).
The initial implementation of Copilot was a flyout tightly integrated with the user shell. But that had quickly changed. Microsoft then introduced a dedicated Copilot web app that wraps around the eponymous web service. It runs inside Edge, but looks like a regular traditional desktop app. This means you can easily move and resize it, and pin to the taskbar.
Since it is now a dedicated app, it is possible to uninstall it with ease using several methods. There are a lot of users who have no intention of using the Copilot app and are generally skeptical about the AI features in the OS.
