1Purchase a Tales of Adventure item from the FINAL FANTASY XIV Online Store
Log into the FINAL FANTASY XIV Online Store, select the Tales of Adventure section, and purchase a Tales of Adventure item for your desired job.
2Log into the game and receive your items via delivery moogle
Log into the game, speak with a delivery moogle and collect your Tales of Adventure item, set of accessories, and Allagan platinum pieces.* The included in-game items (weapon, gear excluding accessories, and soul crystal) will be equipped automatically after logging back in.
3Use the Tales of Adventure item inside any large settlement, and let the automatic logout commence
Once you've received your Tales of Adventure item, use it in large settlements including Limsa Lominsa, Gridania, Ul'dah, Ishgard, etc. Upon using the item, you will be logged out automatically.* The Tales of Adventure item can only be used in sanctuaries, including inns and large settlements.
4Log back in with the character that used the Tales of Adventure item, and unpack the set of accessories
Log back in with the character that used the Tales of Adventure item, unpack the set of accessories in a settlement or field, and equip the accessories.Please ensure you have sufficient space in your Armoury Chest, as several items will be added.
5Exchange the Allagan platinum pieces for gil
The Allagan platinum pieces received in your mail can be sold to NPC merchants for gil.It is recommended that you check the market board afterward for items that may prove useful in your adventures.

Mount | Players who have yet to obtain a chocobo will be given one automatically, and unlock the ability to ride other mounts. Players will gain access to flying mounts in A Realm Reborn areas, and unlock aether currents for flying mounts in all Heavensward, Stormblood, Shadowbringers, and Endwalker areas automatically. |

Usage
Using the Tales of Adventure
1Purchase a Tales of Adventure item from the FINAL FANTASY XIV Online Store
Log into the FINAL FANTASY XIV Online Store, and purchase a Tales of Adventure item for your desired story progression.
2Log into the game and receive your items via delivery moogle
3Use the Tales of Adventure item inside any large settlement, and let the automatic logout commence
Once you've received your Tales of Adventure item, use it in large settlements including Limsa Lominsa, Gridania, Ul'dah, Ishgard, etc. Upon using the item, you will be logged out automatically.* The Tales of Adventure item can only be used in sanctuaries, including inns and large settlements.
4Log back in with the character that used the Tales of Adventure item
Your character will appear in an inn room of your starting city, wherein you can use the Unending Journey to view cutscenes for all completed main scenario quests.
5Speak with a Calamity Salvager to exchange your silver chocobo feathers
Find and speak with a Calamity Salvager to exchange your silver chocobo feathers for any desired gear.
6Sell Allagan platinum pieces to NPC merchants for gil
The Allagan platinum pieces received in your mail can be sold to NPC merchants for gil. It is recommended that you check the market board afterward for items that may prove useful in your adventures.
